The main ski resorts are Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo. Properties in these areas are proving very popular as they can be utilised all year round. Pamporovo is the traditional upmarket resort while Borovets is Bulgaria's most popular resort.(also the most expensive) That just leaves Bansko, which has seen heavy investment with many of its facilities rebuilt .There are numerous on-going developments here in Bansko with many close to the gondola station. There has been a 300% increase in property prices here in a short time. There will be a major road open from Pamporovo to Northern Greece opened by the end of the year.
